Roger Fong
Roger, Center Director was born and raised in Panama City, Panama. He has lived in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Boston, Amsterdam, Paris, Luzern and now proudly calls Hawaii home. A graduate from the California State University system as well as having attended the Sorbonne and the University of Paris, Roger has been in the ESL world since 1993. He enjoys spending his weekends trying to find the most “authentic” Mexican cuisine on the island.

Ivan Lui
Ivan is the International Student Advisor at ELS, Honolulu. He is from O’ahu, Hawai’i, the second of three sons, and is married. He has a degree in psychology/counseling, and he likes taking long walks and bike rides anywhere because it gives him time to explore and think. In addition to playing and taking care of two guinea pigs, he likes to cook and eat especially spicy and garlicky foods.

Jonny Lim
Jonny, Registrar, a graduate of the University of Hawaii system . He has lived in Irvine, Houston, Chicago, Honolulu, Japan, Korea , Jakarta, and Saudi Arabia Sydney, Australia. He enjoys spending his weekends cooking gourmet food for family and friends.

Varsha Graves
Varsha is the Academic Director at the ELS Language Centers Honolulu Center at Hawai’i Pacific University. Originally from the East Coast, Varsha comes from a strong background in International Education and has worked in France, Thailand, Japan, Pennsylvania, California, and here in Hawaii. She is delighted to work with such a wonderful group of enthusiastic educators in helping our ELS students develop their academic skills. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and live jazz.
