How do I request HPU airport shuttle van transportation?

What do I do when I arrive at the Honolulu International Airport?

A:

Go directly to the HPU hospitality desk, in the baggage claim "F" area, for personal assistance once you have collected your baggage and cleared U.S. Customs (if applicable). If the HPU hospitality desk is closed when you arrive, call the HPU Housing Office at (808) 544-1430 or toll-free at 1-866-CALL-HPU, ext. 3. The HPU airport shuttle van will be dispatched to the Honolulu International Airport to pick you up. Public telephones are located in the domestic arrival baggage claim areas and immediately to the right upon exiting the international arrival area (Customs/Immigration).

Q:	Where do I wait for the HPU airport shuttle van?
A:	Once you have contacted the HPU Housing Office, you will be instructed to wait at the CURBSIDE just outside of the BAGGAGE CLAIM "F" area. The HPU airport shuttle van will stop at curbside only. Students waiting inside the baggage claim area will not be visible to the HPU van driver.

Q:	What are the HPU airport shuttle van's service hours of operation?
A:	Monday through Friday (except holidays), 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (HST).  Students must be at Baggage Claim "F" no later than 4:00 p.m. (HST).

What do I do if I am arriving after the HPU airport shuttle van's hours of operation?

A:

Students arriving before or after the hours of operation are advised to arrange their own ground transportation to their destination. All costs incurred (taxi, bus, etc.) by the student when coordinating their own ground transportation are the sole responsibility of the student. Remember, the HPU airport shuttle van service is NOT available on Saturday or Sunday, University holidays, or after 4:00 p.m. (HST).
