Pacific Univesity - Justice Administration (司法管理学)
This major is designed to prepare students
for careers in law and such law-related fields as federal,
state and local law enforcement agencies; corrections and
probation departments; the judiciary; private law firms; and
not-for-profit agencies dealing with deviants, criminals and
victims. The faculty teaching justice administration courses
represent a broad spectrum of academic disciplines, including
law, psychology, sociology, management, the human services,
and justice administration. Their years of practical experience
provide the student with a comprehensive grounding in justice
administration.

Objectives
Students completing the course work in Justice Administration will
be able to:
evaluate law enforcement situations in an organized manner.
apply basic legal and management theories to a broad range
of justice administration applications.
demonstrate understanding of the key processes in justice administration
systems.
synthesize concepts from management, law, and the behavioral
sciences and apply them to contemporary situations.
